East London Dance, Ju Gosling and Well London presents Canning Town Folk, a conference to celebrate the history of folk dancing in Canning Town alongside the work of Maud Karpeles, Daisy Caroline Daking (‘the Pixie’) and Elsie J. Oxenham.

Speakers include Stella Waring, Hilary Clare and Georgina Boyes. The day will begin with a folk dance display and finish with social fun dancing for all.
